Radiation Oncologist Reassurance
I had a follow-up with my Radiation Oncologist this past Wednesday. I told him about the pain in my tumor sites and he checked me out and felt for swollen lymph nodes and stuff. He said that it is extremely unlikely that anything would come back, especially this early. The pain is probably from use and from inflamation from the radiation. My next PET scan is February 7. That will be the 6 month follow-up to confirm again that it is all gone.
Meanwhile, I just get back to normal life. I have worked at the hospital the last 2 weeks. It is pretty tiring, and I am still not as energetic as I would like to be. The doctors say that it will take me about 6 months, or even a year, to be fully recovered and back to my normal self.

well j-$, now you have like hardcore proof that its all psychological. and i distinctly remember the day you started jumping and diving and me asking if that was a good idea. well, i heard all about stuff from coca ;) muahaha. and im guessing you got my little note on your car door handle reminding you about the video! so yeah, let me know por favor. im HELLA glad youre okay :) and i'll just stop using smileys now. rock on with your ghetto self j-$

and i TOLD you that you'd be ok! but why do i even bother? no one listens to me anyway. scwirlz is right, it IS all psychological. you'll be just fine. :-D and im glad ur ok as well. see you monday!!!

well darling coca, i believe in some post of jason's where he said he volleyball helps b/c he doesnt focus on his pain and instead focuses on the "pain of watching his team" he says "muahaha" at the end. this proves that multiple people do not use a "w." also j-$, i've heard from a source that you arent feeling well? que es el problema? theres an obvious part but perhaps there is more?
